A large retailer asked me to help them conceptualize an application to leverage electronic health data from their insurance provider(s) to provide in-store management with a snapshot of employees that would not be at work for medical reasons.
The application is a simple one comprised of employee profiles/schedules (above) paired with a broader timeline view of each store's workforce (below).
Management can easily see which employees will be away on medical leave, filter the information by department/role and even proactively reach out to possible replacements to ensure no gaps in staffing.
